What would the adult industry look like if it had always been designed from a woman’s perspective?

When you search for vibrators, what do you see? Exaggerated, hyper-realistic shapes or uninspired minimalist designs. And lingerie? Often styles that use exposure and seduction as their primary allure. These mainstream aesthetics largely cater to singular, stereotyped narratives, neglecting the diverse needs of individuals—especially women’s desire for beauty, comfort, and emotional expression.

Many women, faced with these products, are left with two options: either accept the notion that “this is just how sex is,” or suppress their own desires. Some even internalize the belief that having desires is something to be ashamed of before they’ve truly come to understand themselves.

We want to focus on those unseen needs and perspectives, to reimagine intimate products through their eyes. We believe that when sex is no longer about domination or submission, intimacy becomes more profound; and when pleasure is no longer about pleasing someone else, you begin to truly see yourself.

And so, with desire as its emblem, Cháo by 春潮抄 was born in the spring of 2024 in Dublin. This small island on the edge of the Atlantic, with its ancient landscapes and timeless literature, became the muse for our brand.
